Pepsi Co. PopWorks

I got excited when MAYA approached me with a project that involved box prototyping, mobile app design + user testing, and illustration. With only a few weeks leading up to the Innovation Summit in Texas, we had to work fast. The goal was to create a viable app prototype to support Pepsi/Frito Lay's ambitious concept to deliver party-focused, upscale snack food with customized flavor varieties—all through online, automated ordering. Confused? Take a look below.

Stuff I Did:
Illustration
Iconography
UI
Prototyping
Mobile Design
Here’s a shot of the full setup during PopWork’s innovation session in Texas.
Two of the main screens from the iPad app: On the left screen, the user selects one of the four compartments. The subsequent screen (right) allows the user to browse available products for the selected compartment.
These icons were created, essentially, because we had no actual products or images. Being an entirely theoretical product, I was tasked with creating visual assets with both relevance and impact.
Icons for the home screen of the iPad app.
My box concept, featuring 4 slots for different PopWorks flavors, and a central pocket for extras.
The graphic created for the welcome screen to invite users to interact with the iPad app.
